If say a company has just (yesterday) bought V3.3 and then subscribed to
this group and saw all the talk of Version 4, would they be entitled to a
free upgrade ;-) or are we talking $99 for a standard license (not
interested in ODBC logging).

V3 codes work on the beta until Feb 15th, after that they no longer work on
v4 and new code(s) are needed. The release of v4 is planned for Feb 15th
(if all goes well)
Full version install will not need a fresh install, you will be able to
install it over the existing 3.x/2.x/1.x or 4.0 beta.

So Dirk are you saying that the v3 codes will not work with v4 sa since
your
sending out new codes? Also if we are running the Beta v4 on our live
systems
does the full release require a fresh install or just a normal reinstall
over
existing as usual and it keeps all current settings? Also is that true
what
was
said that SA V4 beta will time out in mid feb?
