Subject: RE: [SA-list] Monitor NT servcies error

In the error log I am receiving the following for another server when trying
to check disk space:-

ERR: connect to host failed: 1219

Free space on \\<server>\C$ can't be checked!

The drive is shared for admin purposes and I have used an admin user account
to access it??

Thanks

Error code 5 = access denied.

Ensure that the User ID and Password you are using have the correct
priviledges to perform the operation on the remote server... Either the user
ID logged on to the Servers Alive server / pc, or the user ID used to start
the Servers Alive service, or the User ID used in the individual Servers
Alive check.

The correct syntax for the individual check is {Domain name}\{User name} or
{Remote Server name}\{User name}.

Mike.

Subject: [SA-list] Monitor NT servcies error

Hi there,

When I try and add an NT check (NT service monitor) and click on the box
"list of available services", the following error is displayed:

OpenSCManager failed. Error = 5

When I try and add an NT check (NT process), the following error is
displayed

Error getting process in formation from <server>

Any ideas??

Thanks

Chris
