For the checks you'll need to specify a username/password to be able to
authenticated towards the remote system before doing the check.
The "moon" icon is only visible if the user has desktop rights. And when
running a service only the system account can have desktop interaction
(limit of the OS).

Subject: [SA-list] How to edit SA while running as a service

Hi,

This is something that has bugged me for a little while.

If I run SA as a service logged into the service account I can get into the
GUI fine and edit SA. This however stops a lot of my remote checks working
unless I log in with a specific domain account.

Doing this you no longer get the "moon" icon on the taskbar.

Is there any way around this?

thanks

Steve
