Is the SQL server using NT security or SQL security?

The log states: Unsuccessful connection Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC State28000)
Error18452 (Microsoft)(ODBC SQL) Server Driver)(SQL Server)(Login failed for
user '<domain>\<user>'. Reason: Not associtaed with a trusted SQL Server
connnection.

I removed all instances of cost acct checks then created a new one to check
the CABS database. When I tested (check db) the connection in SA, it worked
great. Then I clicked Update, opened it back up and it had again lost its
server name on the DB tab, and the check failed.

Actually, it is making the check fail. Since this has happened, I keep
receiving a NOT OK response. Nothing I have done has allowed me to verify
the database is running with SA.

It's nothing more then a visual bug in the add/edit host screen. Nothing to
worry about.

SQL server

I have salive setup to check my SQL 2000 server to make sure a certain
database is running. It has worked great for a long time but now, for some
reason, it will not keep the server name in the sql check box. All it shows
on the db checks page is SQL(). If I check the Oracle, then check back on
SQL, it will put the name back in, but when I click Update and then open the
check back up, it has no name again. I have also tried to recreate a
completely new check using the same settings and it happens every time. I
have tried restarting the application and the server itself with no
resolution.

Any ideas?
