What would make my life easier is add a contextual "add" menu item on the right click of a primary host entry like this:

The Check would be the one selected with reasonable defaults (or all blanks) for the specific check so the admin only has to change say 5 fields for the monitor to be fully operational. This could be considerably faster than the CTRL-D since I have to change the host name, pretty name, dependant upon, Check param's and alert param's.
