I just created a new Terminal Services monitoring "protocol" via the Servers Alive Protocol Builder (ctrl-P from within the main interface of SA v4). It was tested on several Terminal Servers and worked on each occasion, however since the protocol (MS version) isn't RFCed we can't guarantee that it will work in all situations. Therefore we would like you to ask to evaluate this new check.
It can be downloaded from http://www.woodstone.nu/soft/beta/rdp.reg To use it, just double click the .REG file and restart Servers Alive. (also if you added some protocols yourself (TCP/UDP/DNS/Radius) it might be needed to edit the .REG file. "UID"=" 115" => this contains the unique ID for the protocol, if you already have a protocol with this UID, then you will have to change it within the .REG file) As always all feedback is welcome.... dirk.
