The name of the ODBC entry is salive and nothing more. And the
SERVERS_ALIVE_INTERCHANGE is the table within the salvie database.

Could it that "SERVERS_ALIVE_INTERCHANGE" is the name of the ODBC entry or of
the table that you're using?

Subject: [SA-list] Database logging with oracle
I’ve tried now to log to an oracle database for sometime. The thing
is that creating the tables in my salive database works just fine, but when SA tries
to write down to the database It fails. I’m running SA Enterprise version 4.0.1330.
In my log file it says for the table servers_alive_interchange 12. marts 2003 12:31:04
ERR DB_Update_Interchange_DB : -2147217900([Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-00900: ugyldig
SQL-sætning - 0-P) UID:1 time/date: 12-03-200312:31:00.
I tried to enable odbc Tracing but can’t really find anything
interesting other than :
serversalive 1a64-1a60 ENTER SQLExecDirectW
HSTMT 03362F28
WCHAR * 0x03244828 [ 25]
"SERVERS_ALIVE_INTERCHANGE"
SDWORD 25
serversalive 1a64-1a60 EXIT SQLExecDirectW with return
code -1 (SQL_ERROR)
HSTMT 03362F28
WCHAR * 0x03244828 [ 25]
"SERVERS_ALIVE_INTERCHANGE"
SDWORD 25
DIAG [37000] [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-00900:
ugyldig SQL-sætning (900)
It seem like it is trying to us a function (procedure) called
"SERVERS_ALIVE_INTERCHANGE" but it is not a function or procedure it is a table ???
Kind Regards
