I have the option "automatically save changes to a file" checked so I thought that should do the trick but it didn't appear to be working. After getting your message I tried manually saving the file by using the File>Save option. Now it works great and is saving the column sizes and program window size as well even after reboots!
Thanks for the idea!

Hi all,
We recently upgraded to version 4.0.1336 and I changed the programs display windows so that I have 3 or 4 columns opened and resized for easy viewing. However, when I do an orderly reboot of the PC (Windows 2000 Pro) and restart servers alive the size of the columns and the size of the program window is not the same as when I shut it down even though I have checked the option "load windows positions at startup". Am I missing another option setting?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
