Dirk,

I have re-created the tables this morning and data is being logged again.

Thanks for your assistance.

Not every time just when there are changes in the table.

Thinking it through, I actually set up the tables on MySQL yesterday, and I
have actually updated to Servers Alive Version 4.0.1358 this morning.

Checking through the tables there is actually data prior to the time of the
Servers Alive upgrade today.

Does this mean it is necessary to export the data from my tables, drop the
tables then go into Servers Alive Set-up and set the tables up and then
re-import the data from the export, every time you upgrade Servers Alive?

Did you re-create the table with this version too?

Dirk,

The following 2 entries are being recorded in the logfile, various
timestamps obviously:

27 March 2003 17:05:10 ERR DB_Update_Interchange_DB : 3265(Item cannot be
found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.-
line: 170-E) UID:273

27 March 2003 17:05:10 ERR DB_ADD_RECORD : 3265(Item cannot be found in the
collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.- 250-E) UID:193
time/date: 27/03/2003 17:04:07

Cheers,

Andy

I am currently running Servers Alive Version 4.0.1358 and have just set-up
ODBC logging to a MySQL Database.

MySQL version 4.0.12-nt using MyODBC version 3.51.06

The entries in the database table for the Logfile (debugging) look fine.

The entries in the database table for the Statistical logging is only
showing valid data in the 'host' field, all other fields report 'NULL'

The entries in the database table for the Interchange data is only showing
valid data in the 'SAID' field, all other fields report 'NULL'

I believe my ODBC entry is set up OK, I have set it up as a System DSN, as I
am getting valid entries in all the fields on the Logfile table.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

Regards,

Andy.
