Service checks unfortunatly don't use the given timeout.  Why?  The API calls (these are part of the operating system) don't have timeout options.

Hi all,

 

 I need piece of advice. We have one server, which is still near 100% of CPU time. When SA checks antivirus service on this server with timeout 5 secs, it takes approx. 1,5 min from start to end checking. Why this check is not ended in 5 secs? This is a big problem, because we test approx. 200 checks and whole testing is done about 1 min (without antivirus check).

 

Can you help me?
