When you open it via start/programs/Servers Alive you start a 2nd instance,
this could cause weird results.

Bruce,

When I run the SA program as a service on my Win2003 server, it doesn't show
the icon in the system tray either...so to open the main screen, I just go
to Start/all programs/alive/servers alive and it opens the console...as for
starting and stopping the service for changes, I never have had to, just
make sure that you hit "apply" when you make a change, and also make sure
you save the new settings to your setup...by going to file/save on the SA
console.

Hi,
Do I need to restart SA service if I change something on a entry?
Also, I don't see SA icon when the service is running.
What is a way to open main screen?
Thanks
