The latter... I think.
1. Open host entry
2. Select Alert tab
3. Click ADD button
4. Select 'Send SMTP mail' (primary or alternate)
5. The 'Message (body)' in the top half of the "Add/edit alert" dialog.
I just find that when using a number of variable and text to get a
meaningful email message it's really hard to construct it when you can only
see approx. 41 characters in the existing field size. Would be nice if it
was both longer (ie. took more width on screen) and at least 3-4 'lines'
deep.

Are you talking about the SETUP or about the add/edit entry/alert screen?

On the SMTP Alert add/edit dialog, would it be possible to make the Message
(body) field larger to make it easier to see the entire contents without
having to "cursor through" the message in the field or copy & paste in &
out of Notepad?
