Or does it mean that the alert can be send a max of 11 times?

Hi Dirk.
Is there any chance in having the alert "when X cycles down and then
every X" cycles changed to be something like the following.
When X cycles down and then every X cycles until Y cycles.
Reason. I have got alerts going to different techs and different
numbers of downs. This is working great but when it gets escalated it
would be nice to stop the messages.
Example.
Check Fails and sends a message to Tech1.
This message gets sent every 2 checks.
Tech1 is away at lunch or not in for the day. After 20 checks it is
escalated to Tech2. He fixes the problem but in the mean time another 5
cycles have passed. This means that Tech1 has got extra alerts that he
didn't need to get. This is not a problem with email but when it is a
phone pager then .....
Please let me know if this is not clear.
