If you realy want to "play" with the templates then use the beta, it's
quicker, several bugs resolved, and it has many new tags...
So please try with that one first....

I have done as you suggested but it still does not seem to work? The
page is being sent via ftp to my domain. The domain is
http://www.completenetworkservices.co.uk/sa.htm
If you go and look at that page and the coding, you will see that i
manage to get the images to change when a device is either up or down,
but not the number of servers up / down.

Many thanks

Try splitting it in 3 lines.
<SA_GroupHeader>
<SA_group_name> <p align="center"><b><font face="Arial"size="5"
color="#FFFF00">Status: You currently have <sa_group_up_entries> servers
Alive and<sa_group_down_entries> servers down.
</font></b></p>
</sa_groupheader>

Hi Dirk.

We have written a HTML page displaying a list of all the servers that
are being checked by servers alive. We have it all working apart from
one thing.

We want a Line saying 'You currently have X servers or services up and X
down'.

We are trying to use the <sa_group_up_entries> and
<sa_group_down_entries>
*************************  Example *****************************
<SA_GroupHeader> <SA_group_name> <p align="center"><b><font face="Arial"
size="5" color="#FFFF00">
Status: You currently have <sa_group_up_entries> servers Alive and
<sa_group_down_entries> servers down.
</font></b></p>
</sa_groupheader>

However this does not work... am i being REAL stupid or have i forgot to
do something?

Thanks in advance
