I'm trying to get Servers Alive version 4.0.1376 Enterprise Edition to send alerts to a Blackberry pager. I'm not having any luck at all. Is it possible to send alphanumeric pages to blackberry using Servers alive?
This is the information from Blackberry's website on sending TAP messages TAP is an acronym for Telocator Alphanumeric input Protocol. It is an industry standard which allows communication directly from a computer (usually via a modem) to a paging terminal. Essentially it allows someone at a computer with a modem to dial directly into our paging service provider's terminal and send an alphanumeric page to the BlackBerry handheld. There are many different types of proprietary software that can be used to send TAP messages, many are inexpensive or shareware and are available on the Internet for download. TAP software usually requires the user to populate a few simple fields: the TAP phone number; the paging PIN; the message; and occasionally some modem parameters. Our specific TAP information is as follows: Phone: 877-766-6670 Modem Parameters: 2400 7E1 Thanks Jason To unsubscribe from a list, send a mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] With the following in the body of the message: unsubscribe SAlive
