The combo does have a tooltip that shows the current value.
However what you would like to see is that
OR the combo is larger
OR while scrolling throught it that you still can get a
tooltip with the currentvalue
Making the combo larger is a problem within the current GUI
Showing a tooltip for the "selected" item while scrolling throught the
list is something that apparently can't be done, limit of the default MS
combo box.

check and the location of the equipment.
When I set dependencies, I often cannot see enough of the description to
make the correct selection. I wider field or one of those yellow popup
descriptions would be nice.
