I think he means if a check is on maintenance for X hours, he wants to
be alerted.

On the alert config window, I would like to add a criteria for 
"[ ] When check is put in Maintenance State   [ ] and removed too".

We have a technical staff that sometimes fails to restore a system from
maintenance after working on it or a reboot, and the principle person
for the server doesn't know the server's not being monitored anymore.
Alerting them would sure help.
