As long as SA is running you could have a max of 11 of
them. If you stop/start SA they will disappear. The fact that you
see the .BAT file is not linked to them being processes or
not.
The reason that they are still in the directory is rather
simple:
IF you don't have a command to execute after the
update, we send a request to the OS to execute the BAT and SA continues (without
waiting for the update to be termintated) And IF you have a very small
cycle time you could get a situation were the updates of cycle_N are still
running while the update of cycle_N+1 are "created" in a .BAT file, that's why
we decided to work with a pool of 11 (or 10) BAT files.
