Found it! Fixed it.  Was a diskspace check that used auth. but was pointed to a trusted_domain\username instead of domain\username.

Thanks!

This erorr is when you have a nt based check (service/process/perfmon/diskspace) that uses authentication and that the user you defined for the check tries to connect. And get's this error, but since the already connected usr (logged on user?) has enough rights the check passes.

Subject: [SA-list] Weird Error in Log file

I turned on database logging to a SQL server yesterday and everything seems to be working fine.  All the tables were created and are being populated, but I have notice a strange error in the log file now.  It happens every time a check is done.  The error is there even if all of the entries are UP.  The error looks like this:

Wednesday, December 24, 2003 9:06:31 AM ERR: connect to host failed:  1219 but ignored due to authenticationerrorignore list

Any ideas where to start looking?

Randy
