By and large, the majority of the checks I create are dependant on a ping
check and as a standard, the dependant check is never set to alert until at
least the second down. We have had too many occasions where a machine is
shutdown after the ping, or the ping works and the machine is going down but
the dependant check then fails. On the second go-around, the ping check
fails and that's the alert I receive instead of the bogus service or
diskspace check failed alert.

Can I alter the default number in the Alert / When "When [ ] times down"
field to make my installation default to 2 instead of 1? This single entry
has to be changed from 1 to 2 on 85% of my checks and changing the default
would make adding checks much quicker.

In fact, can I default the "[] and when back up too" check box to be checked
when creating new checks as well?

Thanks!
Rob Petty
