If I understand correctly, yes... Locked to the row. If I have 15 checks and I insert a check as a sub check under #8, I would like to see the new check be #9 and the subsequent checks #'s incremented. You could always reload the list on a save and the renumbering could happen on the reload not everytime a check is added.
