Ok, but which icon should I see in the icon tray if I start as a service? And which is the "moon" icon, and when will I see it?
Mike >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 04/14/04 01:04PM >>> The serversalive.exe file is use for both service and application. If you start the serversalive.exe file then you start the application. If you start the "servers alive" service (via the control panel) then you're starting it as service. Dirk. I'm looking at the documentation and trying to figure the practicial differences running SA as a service or app, but I think I am now confused about what you call the different icons. I see 2 icons in the servers alive folder, 1 is the orange ball, and the other is half white and half black. Which of these is the icon I'll see in the system tray when running as a service? And what do you call them?
