It's that MSN thing. Use AIM instead. :) Sorry couldn't
resist bashing M$.

I've just checked the log for Friday 16th where all three of us were in
the office and signed into MSN between 9am and 5:00pm. I counted
17 MSN messages that were not sent because of Timeouts.
As I am sure you understant, I need a reliable method of getting alerts
sent out. Perhaps I need to look at other methods if MSN is not
working fully.

Tricky to say, would probably only notice that we haven't received the
occasional alert when the customers start shouting. I'll look over the
recent logs to see how many timeout's are occurring per day.
Is there anyway to increase the timeout, or build logic into SA that can
retry alerts not sent the first time ?

Looks like a slow MSN server, that's all.
Does it do that all the time?

Salive - 4.1.1567 on W2k3 server.
We have three members of a team setup within Servers Alive to
receive alerts via MSN. I've recently noticed that not all team members
get all the alerts. I've sent a test message this morning and saw this is
in the error log.
