Here's an example from my working config that is counting the number of
files in the specified directory. Appropriate bits replaced for security
purposes.
[Outbox]
Path=\\Servername1\Share$\Directory
Pattern=*.*
Directory=F
Username=Domain\Account
Password=password
Server=Servername1

The path should be the UNC.
The server entry is only used for authentication
Dirk.

Subject: [SA-list] Countfiles question
Can someone give me an example of the syntax of the Countfiles ini for a
remote server?
I have the following info in mine:
[WWW1Mail]
Path=c:\inetpub\mailroot\badmail
Pattern=*.bad
Directory=
UserName=
Password=
Server=www1.ps.net
The entry is a remote server. It seems to me like Path should be a UNC
(\\www1.ps.net\c$\inetpub\mailroot\badmail), but then it would be redundant
with both Server and Directory.
