The only reason I can see to get this kind of behaviour is a corrupt filesystem or corrupt file.
Try a
    chkdsk
to see if it finds errors on your disk.

I just did an install on a XP Pro and it went perfectly.

Subject: [SA-list] Installation Error Installing 1602 or 1603

Hi,

when trying to install 1602 or 1603 on an Windows XP Pro Workstation (actuall Patchlevel ), the installer stops at the following point:

Copying File:     c:\winnt\system32\wodftpdlx.dll

SAlive then creates a temp-file in the System32-Dir and pick up all free Disk-Space at c-Drive (actually arround 6,5 GB).

File named:  ~glh003f.tmp

After a few Minutes Error Message came up:                            Error   Could not write file, disk may be full
SAlive Installer still show       Copying File:     c:\winnt\system32\wodftpdlx.dll

After cancel temp-file is deleted automatically.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall. Sme Problem
Does not happen with Version 1591 and before (reproducable).
The next one i have is 1602 -  failed.   1603 failed same problem / Error.

Any Ideas ?

Thanks
Roland Schmid
