I understand the request but personaly I don't think that
technicaly this is an easy one.
Let me explain.
SMTP2POP3 in SMTP & POP3 mode:
you know the subject that you used and based on
that you know what to delete, so you could force it not to delete other
message
=> easy one
SMTP2POP3 in POP3 only mode (SMTP used in a different
entry)
how would you expect it to know what mail to
delete?
currently it will OR delete all mail OR delet
only the SMTP2POP3 mails.
Also remembre that IF you use it this way that you could
get the following:
entry_1 send via
smtp_1
entry_2 send via
smtp_2
entry_99 pop3
entry_100
pop3
in entry_99 it could well be finding the message send via
smtp_2 and not the one via smtp_1
in entry_100 no mail is found
=> what is the problem? smtp_1 or
smtp_2?
What could be done is that you give some kind of "keyword"
that smtp2POP3 then uses with the mail sending and that it checks
within the POP3 retrieval. BUT this does mean that it's upto the user to
select a good keyword and to use them correctly when defining the pop3 and the
smtp parts (if they are in different
entries).

Hi,
I've just started using this to test a number of different
internal relays and mail systems. One thing I've found is that the POP3 check
removes ALL of the SMTP2POP3 check mails.
I was hoping it would be clever enough to just remove the
message it's looking for, not ALL of the test messages.
So, 1st check, sends an smtp fine. 2nd check sends an smtp
fine. 1st check then checks pop box and deletes BOTH the messages so 2nd pop
check fails. I know I could get round this by using a different pop box for each
test but if I'm checking 5 or 6 different mail routes it's more admin
overhead.
Is there a way of getting it to delete ONLY the message
it's sent?
