Little search on the internet reveals several possible causes:
* you have some of the Oracle DLLs in several directoryies and the
Oracle Objects are as such mixing them.
Make sure to only have the Oracle DLL onces on the system
* the Oracle directory ( mostly they are apparently pointing to
something that looks like a var with the name ORACLE_HOME) is not within the
path of the user running the application that shows the error.
So from what I can see it's realy an Oracle client issue and not a Servers
Alive issue.

The oracle lib is getting an error 12538 (whatever that migt be) but can't
give you any text info for it because it gets an error while retrieving the
error.
This are real errors of the Oracle Objects that we're showing within Servers
Alive, Servers Alive is not generating those errorcodes/texts.
