If the item showed that it was down, then at the end of the cycle a second knock will be done. This was added to double check busy services and or networks. It's to help not get false downs, just because the service or network was buay at the time of the first check.

The second knock means that when SA completes a cycle it will go back and recheck those items with that box checked.

Subject: [SA-list] Second Knock ?

On the check tab there is a check box labelled 'second knock' I assume this means it will check twice before sending an alert, can anyone confirm this ?
