could it be that you're running the service and the app at
the same time and getting the alerts from the service while you're looking at
the app?

set to alarm when less than 100mb free – and even after putting it in
maintenance, kept getting alerts. Late last night, deleted the rule – and
I’m still getting them – so where is it stored / what’s it up

alerts were fireing? What WHEN rule? Dirk. From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of And even in maintenance
mode it keeps sending alerts! It shows as being in maintenance mode in the
console, but keeps pumping out alerts saying its down (which it is still NOT) –
what’s the deal with that???? From:
I have a
diskspace check in place – checks for free space below xxx mb on a
server’s drive. I triggered it intentionally this afternoon – i..e I
moved folders to that drive to take it below the threshold – and then got alerts
as expected. Then I freed up
space – to well above the check’s threshold – and continued to get an alert on
every check cycle – wrongly. Then I lowered
the threshold – so that the free space was way above it. Still kept
getting alerts – even though within the SA ‘console’ the check showed as
OK. Have only managed
to stop them by putting this check into maintenance
mode. How do I fix
this? Any advice much appreciated …. |
