I have the same issue... is there any way to change the com check so you can filter out certain events based on text in the message? Maybe add a check box to the check window that says (don't alert on text) or something....
This drives me nuts some days....
Thanks!
Greg

The eventlog com check works the other way around. You define for what it
should alert, not for what it shouldn't alert.

Subject: [SA-list] Filtering out Specific Event Log Errors
Right now I have configured SA to get notified of every Error type event in
my Application Logs on all of my SA monitored servers.

This is great for most servers, but on a couple of my servers there are a
few re-occurring errors that I don't care to fix and don't want to get
notified every time, when that error occurs.

Question: Is there a way to filter out specific errors, so that I don't get
notified when this specific error occurs in my Application Event Logs?

Thanks
