Well, a lot of people that run a web balancer like Weblogic might be running SNMP on a different port. It's actually 2 different SNMP implementations - one on the normal port, then one that contains Weblogic specific OIDs on a different port.

I've been trying to find something to monitor a non-standard port forever

This can't be done in v4.x
This is something that could be added to v5, however not sure if it's such a good idea....
Other people are also running SNMP on non-standard ports?

Quick Question,

We have an app that runs it's SNMP at a nonstandard port, is there a way to allow SA to query an OID on a different port? If not, can it be added to the wish list? Thanks!
