On http://www.brentozar.com/salive/default.php you
can find some nice (but not always very simple) examples.

Subject: [SA-list] Some help with a template
I've been reading how to make custom templates, but I'm not grasping it. I'll continue to keep reading, but if someone has a moment to give me an example, I would certainly appreciate it.
I would like to have a simple, plain page (as this page will be in a frame), that shows a very, very basic list like this:
Outages
------------------------------------------------
[a list of the systems show down by SA - pretty name only]
Operational
------------------------------------------------
[a list of the systems show OK by SA - pretty name only]
And if there are no outages, the line below the outages section would say something like "no outages"
Lastly a "last update" timestamp at the bottom of the page.
I want to keep this page very minimal, small font and just one line for each listing, in a table with no borders or anything else.
If you can help, thanks in advance!!
Jamie
