Chris,
Could it be a timeout issue? Check the SA log and see is there is
anything there. I've been running MMS stream checks for over a year with
very few false positives logged. My response times are around 350ms at
most usually about 200ms.

Subject: [SA-list] MMS stream checking

Hi,

I get this error when trying to check a Windows Media stream:

DOWN due to error 0x8007000E

Is that an SA error or a WMP error? If I use RTSP:// instead of MMS://
it
will pull the stream. However the stream seems to be marked "down" a lot
more than is really possible so we wanted to try using the older mms://
call
to double check.

Any suggestions?

-chris
