For me it was during the install, and then whenever
I start SA. It also shows in my logs as some other errors that I don't
have handy at the moment. I am using it on XP Pro with SP1a.

Does this happen immediately on startup, or when a
certain type of check or alert occurs?
Greg,
I reported the same thing, was advised of the
same things, and it still isn't resolved. I get the 429 error and
several errors in my logs. The program itself appears to work okay
though (Command Alerts don't work right however).

Installed directly (no TS
used here typically) and rebooted...
on some of these machines they've been rebooted numerous times and are still
doing
it

Did you reboot the system? Did you install directly or via a TS session?
Dirk.

This is typically happening on NT
boxes...
I've installed the latest and greatest SA release
and latest EventLog COM check... on the NT boxes I get this box at
startup of SA
ActiveX object can't be created (
429)
Any ideas?
thanks Greg
