1. If "SA-service" is running w/system context you won't have access to the network environmnet w/unc paths
2. If "SA-service" needs the "guest" account in some way: XP/W2k3 have GUEST disabled be default. Check it.
3. Check all policy settings for
"logon as service, logon as/from batch", "Access this computer from the network" and the resp. "disallow" settings for each of the policies
Maybe "SA-service" can't handle the "\" right when acting as service?
