Two days ago, we upgraded our BES server to version 4.0 and are now using the Mobile Data Service (MDS) to access a HTML page with SA checks.  

This is going to work well, as if a device fails it will, as always, send an e-mail to us (and to our BB's), but we can also now check an intranet page for a complete status update.  We can also setup various HTML pages with different devices, so the networking group can see switches, the developers can see Sybase / SQL servers, etc.
