Well for some unknown reason it sometimes does it and sometimes doesn't. Same with the installer it should make a backup of the hostfile and on my system it does it all the time and on other systems not. We just did a modification to the installer to make it a little better from a backup point of view....just uploading it again. Then install v5 over v4, reboot the system, start SA, enter the v5 code, restart SA. In my case, I purchased an upgrade from v4 Standard to v5 Enterprise. * Are there any upgrade best-practices or things that should be reviewed/updated immediately after upgrading? * Will the COM and ErrorLevel add-ons still function in v5?
