When I moved Servers Alive from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2000 about a
year ago, I noticed the time it takes to do a NT Service Check
increased. The NT Service checks now take anywhere from 6 to 30 seconds
each (checking multiple services on the one box in the same room as the
Servers Alive server across a 100MBps LAN connection). Does anyone know
why this? What are other people experiencing with their checks?

Thank you,
