Thanks. Becuase Kronos uses a bunch of related
services, plus Java and SQL spread across multiple servers, I was hoping that
someone had walked this particular road before and I could start from their
config. If not, I can go to Kronos and ask what needs to be watched and
then make my info available to anyone else who needs it.
I've already got some good stuff going for
exchange.
Thanks to the flxibility of SA, my config has grown from a
couple of pings to some fairly clever monitoring.

Try asking yourself the following
question:
"how would I as a human montor this
system"
Once you answer that, look at how a program (like Servers
ALive) can do the same..

Subject: [SA-list] SAlive and Kronos WFC
We run Kronos Worforce Central for our timeclock functions and I would like to monitor the servers at a fairly detailed level to catch things when they go stupid (and they do at least once a week). Is anyone montioring a Kronos setup? What are you monitoring?
Thanks
