We're doing this
with a combination of VB Script & .Bat files
that SA runs as an external check. It could probably be made more efficient, as
I had to create a separate .bat file for each server we had to check. If you
want to post your email, I can send you what I have off list, or if others are
interested in seeing it as well, someone can volunteer to host it, and I'll send
it to them.
Maybe someone can
improve it's efficiency.... It works, but I'm not very good at
scripting so I'm sure there are better ways than my .bat \ vbs combo,
lol...
Thanks!,
Jesse

Subject: [SA-list] Check Exchange Server Store Status
Has anyone figured out a way to configure a Servers Alive check to determine if a store in Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 is mounted? Obviously Servers Alive easily checks the NT Service of "Microsoft Exchange Information Store". I need to be able to check to see if the store is mounted or not. Any thoughts, please let me know.
