Send me (off list) the hostfile and I'll have a look at it.

Subject: [SA-list] Runtime Error loading old Host File

I am upgrading my monitoring server hardware and upgraded SA from
version 4.1.1609 to version 5.0.1680 with a standard license onto my new
server. If I try to Import the OLD HOST configuration I saved from
Version 4 into version 5, I get the error "Datafile Doesn't have the
right structure, will only load the first good part of it." and nothing
loads into servers alive. If I just open my version 4 host file into
version 5, the file loads, displays properly, and is able to start the
check process. At the end of the check cycle the program crashes with
the error "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range". I tried to
enter a single check manually into version 5, and it didn't seem to have
any trouble. Nothing is recorded in the error log when the program
crashes.

Anyone else seen this? Is there a different way I need to save my host
file out of version 4 to put it into version 5?

Any idea's would be appreciated.

Nate
