Seeing as you're so knowledgeable on the subject,
what does it mean to
be born "with a blue moon in your eye" (as per the

The last one was Aug 22 2002 at 22:29z using the Astronomical
Seasons method of calculation. or Nov 20 2002 at 01:34z using the Farmer's
Almanac method.
Both methods agree on the date of the next blue moon is
due Aug 19 2005 at 17:53z
Sounds like your bule moon detector went off
way too early. Check your system date-time :)
The idea that a blue moon
was the second full moon in any given month was/is in error ! It was based
on a 1946 article in Sky and Telescope magazine that had misinterpreted a page
of the 1937 Maine Farmers' Almanac. This error was corrected in a followup
article in 1999.
