PERFECT! Thanks. Don't know how I missed that in the Doc.

Ever think of writing a stand-alone "Servers Alive tuning Program" to
give easy access to all these registry values?

If ExcludeDateTimeInMail is 1, the generated SMTP mailings do not

Subject: RE: [SA-list] email Header and Footers

I have a question about this as well.
We are running 4.1

All my messages are sent to cell phones via SMTP. The new trend in the
United States is to start charging cell phone users for >>incoming
messages<<.

Long messages now get split by the phone company and delivered as two
(or more) messages (so they can bill more) instead of truncated as they
used to be.

Here is my problem:
When I set the PrimaryFooter and AlternateFooter to: "{time}-{date}" , I
expect it to appear as "16:35:03-04/13/05" (17 characters)

What I actually get is: "Mail generated by Servers Alive at Wednesday,
April 13, 2005 4:35:03 PM" (71 characters) and then my custom footer.

Why isn't the shorter footer being used INSTEAD of the built in one?
I understand the Servers Alive "commercial" for the free version - but
can it be disabled in the registered version?

At minimum, can the "Wednesday, April 13, 2005 4:35:03 PM" be shortened
to something like "13 APR 05-16:35:03" in the built in footer?

This issue results in two messages being delivered for every one alert
(due to splitting long message) and is going to cost me money.

It is in the manual not sure where off hand but see if you can find it.

header and footer for a user? I'm still using 4.1 (not sure if this
global attribute may have been changed in V5?).
