Install the free SA Version on a PC and have it check the production SA
and make sure it's running. Also put a check in the production SA to
check the Free SA and make sure it's running.
Create an Alert for each one that attempts to restart the other if it is
down. The only catch is if you decide to stop the service on the
production then you'll need to either disable the check or stop the
service on the Free SA. That's easy to do with either a Batch or VB
script.

Dirk,
For what its worth, our SA install died last night.
We upgraded to V5 last week and have never had this happen before.
(5.0.1680)
Previous versions (v4xxx) ran for a year with no problem.
We will try to reproduce and see if we can find anything in the logs,
but it is odd.
No error message from SA. Just it was no longer running. Systray
showed icon until you put the mouse over it and it went away.
There is nothing in the logfile. The FTP check ran fine and the next
normal check should have been a PING check.
Also noticed there is a newer build. We will DL and try that.
