That's the master/slave thing we wanted in v5 but didn't
manage to get into v5. This is still planned for the near
future.
We're now first of all working on the
threading....

I've said this several times before)
is coordinated multi-point checks.
So, for example, if three external points were
checking a Web server, an alert would
only be raised if two (or three - configurable)
monitoring points saw that website as
being off-the-air. It would eliminate supurious
error resports caused by network faults
at the monitoring point, or its 'net
connection.
This would be so cool, and I'm
sure there must be a way to do it by having each SA
moniting point publish its own status page, and
then have other monitoring points
check the status from that, as well as from their
own checks...
