There is no beta page for v5 that's correct.
The changes that are currently done on v5 in preparation for v5.1 are being
tested by a "small" restricted group. The changes are a bit to "low level"
to have a wider beta for it.
Once we're through that "low level"-stuff we will have a general beta with
those low level features too.

However the beta (with the low level stuff NOT activated) is on
http://beta.woodstone.nu/soft/salive51.exe

Compared to the latest release build that is on the site these are the
changes:

FIXED: when a webserver said it could do NTLM and DIGEST authentication we
did DIGEST, while most browsers would then use NTLM, we adjust towards how a
browser works and will do NTLM then.

ADDED:
New HTML tags for the template based HTML output:
        <sa_rrd_roundtrip_enabled> (T/F)
        <sa_rrd_checkresult_enabled> (T/F)
        <sa_syslog_enabled> (T/F)
        <sa_syslog_facility>
        <sa_syslog_message>

FIXED: if a PERFMON counter name included a # then the name of the counter
was cut off resulting in an "element not found" check error.

ADDED:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\SMTP\Primary_max_size (string)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\SMTP\Alternate_max_size (string)
With these values you can limit the size of the body text (this does NOT
count the size of the additional footers or the "Mail generated..." part).

ADDED: SA_CASE can now work with GROUPID and GROUPNAME too.
ADDED: SAIF can now work with SA_GROUPID and SA_GROUPNAME too

FIXED: ICQ sender control had some problems were on some systems this causes
it not to work correctly.
FIXED: MSN alert works again

FIXED: runtime error 6 when adding an entry (or cloning one) (only visible
with very high uniqueIDs)

FIXED: it was possible to open the "configure" window of a COM check more
then once resulting in a runtime error when closing one of them

ADDED: GSM modem support together with the AT+C protocol (SMS)

FIXED: When Servers Alive was running as a service, a logoff somehow
"killed" the process checking

FIXED: Due to a change in the way the HTTP component we're using works, the
authentication with a domainname (domain\username) didn't work anymore, made
the needed changes to make it work again.

ADDED: FTP upload visible within the statusbar.
