[SA-list] External Eventlog check

Dirk,

 

Would you be willing to share some the technical details of the WMI Eventlog check works??  I'm one of those "gotta know" kinda guys..   Does it maintain a checkpoint per server, or a single checkpoint for all SA checks calling it??  Also, is it memory resident or written to a file??  If I stop SA, will I loose my checkpoint location and potentially "miss" events, or will restarting SA resume reading the event log if possible??
