SQL DMO has nothing to do with ODBC and does NOT need a DSN entries.
SQL DMO is part of the SQL client.  You need to install the SQL client (from the SQL server CD) and use OR the full install OR a custom install and include the SQL DMO objects.

Subject: [SA-list] MS SQL DMO on MS Server2003

Any clues how I can setup my Microsoft 2003 Server to utilize the embedded Database (Microsoft SQL) Check? I am getting the SQL DMO required message, but cannot find information on how to set this up on Sever 2003. I can create DSN entries and connect to the SQL server (via testing). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
