The only way of mailing a file would be to use a commandline mailer as alert, something like Postie.

Is it possible for an Alert to cause a file to be emailed? Here is my situation: We are moving from a local installation of BackupExec to a central installation of Tivoli Storage Manager for backup. To really check that everything worked properly, you need to look at an error log file on each server. Can I have an alert that checks the size of that file and if it is more than xzxx bytes, email the log file to me and delete the log file. I was looking at the FileSize COM check, but I can not figure out if it is possible to email the file and delete it. Thanks for any ideas.
