any ideas else ? What means "send direct" in the setup ? I mailed to our firewall administrator, maybe we can't do smtp to the outer world. But i will get no answer before Monday. Then i will mail again. Nice weekend and thanks for all the tips.

Did you configure a fixed smtp server or did you enable direct send? If it's a fixed SMTP server then try (from a command prompt) TELNET <smtp-server> 25 Does that work? Dirk.
